Correct Uniform Reminder:
This is a friendly reminder of our expectations around wearing the correct uniform. With the change in weather there are a few additional or incorrect items creeping in and/or some 'fashion' related ways of wearing the uniform.
Some if these items are:
- socks - no logos or footy socks
- track pants - range of blue colours, some black and non school track pants. We now expect students to be wearing our MRC track pants if they are wearing PE uniform to school or on excursions.
- Long-sleeved tops under white shirts/PE shirts. If students are wearing long sleeves under their short sleeve tops, then they need to be wearing their jacket or jumper.
Our uniform has a great range and is comfortable and looks respectful. Please continue to wear it respectfully.
Also a remind people that there is a FB Buy, Swap and Sell page that you can utilize.

Junior School

Week 10:
As we move into the end of Term 2, we understand that many of our young people are currently involved in exciting opportunities such as the school production or upcoming sporting events. These experiences are valuable and enrich our school culture and our students' experiences here at Mercy, however, we kindly encourage parents to work with their child/children to remind them that it's still important for them to check in with their teachers about any work or lessons they may be missing during this time.
With assessment tasks and major learning activities approaching, it is essential that they stay up-to-date to help ensure they continue to feel confident and prepared in their learning. We appreciate your support in encouraging your child to maintain that connection with their classroom learning, even while they take part in these important co-curricular activities.
GWR Year 7 Football:
MRC has entered a Year 7 Football team in the Greater Western Region competition. This will be held at Alfredton Recreation Reserve, Ballarat on Wednesday 25 June. The draw will be passed on to students when released by School Sport Victoria. Bus departures times:
- 7.45am Terang Civic Centre (Terang)
- 8.00am: McAuley Campus (Camperdown
Students are to wear correct PE uniform and a change of clothes and a towel. They will be provided with a football jumper on the day. Students should ensure they bring a packed lunch and water with them. If your child requires taping before playing please send the necessary tape with them.
Good luck to all of the Year 7 students competing.
Kind regards
Tim Woodmason - O'Keeffe Campus Assistant
