Farewell, Class of 2022!

Last Week of School - Dress Ups
Our Year 12 students spent their last week of school participating in themed dress-ups to the great ammusement of the staff and other students. It was great fun for the College community to try and guess their costumes.

Graduation Mass and Awards Ceremony
Monday 17 October was the culmination of a 13-year learning journey (and a 6-year journey at MRC) for our Year 12 students, completing their last official classes. Monday evening parents, friends and family came together with our graduating class to celebrate their Graduation Mass and Awards Ceremony. The night was a great success with Alumnus Fr Edward Moloney (Class of 1981) leading our students in their final Mass at MRC. The night was the first time in three years that we were able to celebrate as a school community, which made it a special and enjoyable evening for our Class of 2022, their families and friends.

Final Day - Activities and Asesembly
Tuesday 18 October was last official day on campus for the graduating class. Students and staff travelled to Warrnambool for the morning with some spirited games of ten pin bowling and lunch before returning for their final assembly and dismissal. It was a most enjoyable day even though the party's whistles and singing on the bus may have started to draw out a little.
The assembly gave the MRC community and the Year 12s some time to look back at their journey at the College and to reflect on what has been a very different experience at times due to COVID. Having missed the Year 12 assembly over the past few years it was certainly a great experience for the whole school to come together and once again enjoy the final afternoon with the Year 12s.

We wish our graduationg Class of 2022 all the very best for their upcoming exams and for whatever path their next journey takes them on.
