Art & Technology Exhibition Returns to Camperdown Courthouse in 2021

We are excited to announce that the MRC Art & Technology Exhibition is returning to its traditional format this year: a display of artwork at the Camperdown Courthouse.  The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday, 20 November to Monday, 29 November.

The Art & Technology Exhibition is one of the key celebrations for the Mercy Regional College community.  It features the best works that students have created throughout the school year.  As the name suggests, the exhibition includes works from a variety of Art & Technology subjects offered at the College: Visual Arts, Studio Arts, Visual Communication Design, Building & Construction, STEAM, Textiles, Food Technology and much more.  Students’ achievements in Media, Music, and Drama will be represented with a series of images and a slideshow.  Visitors to the exhibition will be able to enjoy audio and video works of our students by scanning a QR code that will lead them to a digital gallery on the MRC website.

Even during the disrupted year of remote learning and lockdowns, the students have all shown resilience and enthusiasm for their learning.  Their skills have developed onsite and at home, and the works on display showcase their amazing capacity to adjust and create work under challenging conditions.

We encourage families to stop by the Camperdown Courthouse between 20-29 of November to enjoy the works of our talented students and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.  The award winners for Junior, Middle and Senior school will be announced at 7.15 pm on Monday, 29 November, after the Car Raffle Draw.
