Tamara Searle to Direct 2021 Production

We are excited to welcome Tamara Searle to our Mercy community this year, as the Director of our College production.

Tamara has a wealth of experience in the Arts. After performing with the Australian Ballet early in her career, Tamara retrained as an actor and director and has worked across both film and theatre productions. She has a Master of Theatre Practice from Monash University and is an alum of MTC Women Directors program and the Melbourne Festival Director’s Lab. Tamara has also travelled the globe in her profession and was a recipient of an Australian Council International residency in Helsinki. As Artistic Associate of Back to Back Theatre, Tamara collaborated and presented the production of digital media pieces across Europe.

Fortunately, Tamara has chosen to live in the local area and we can’t wait to work with her and see the final production, which is planned for mid-August this year, COVID allowing. More details to come, so watch this space!
